AUTO GUARANTEES – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1

What does a compulsory insurance include? Covers exclusively the civil responsibility of the driver in front of third parties.

And what is not what is not included? The damages that you or your vehicle suffer if the fault of the accident is yours. When you are the cause of the collision, the compulsory insurance will repair the damage caused to the other car or on public roads, indemnify the occupants of each vehicle (both those who were with you and the people of the opposite car) and pedestrians in case of injury.

Third party insurance will in no case repair your car or compensate you for your injuries. If you want to have these protections, you must hire two more coverages:

– One deals with your vehicle and is known as “own damages”, although everyone calls it “insurance at all risk”.

– The other coverage is called “driver’s accident insurance” and it protects you.
